Meet Erica Parks Murray
Board Member
Erica Parks Murray comes to NO HARM with a passion for disrupting the status quo to build spaces where all of humanity is seen, celebrated, and thriving. Her dedication to the work in which NO HARM is founded, grew after Spencer apologized to her for the emotional and psychological pain she’s experienced in past relationships. The moment created a healing opportunity for them both; Erica had a better understanding about the roots of her past traumas and Spencer developed an appreciation for how his past behaviors, like withdrawing and not communicating his feelings and emotions, have caused pain.
As a certified coach, she believes we all have a story to tell. Erica recognizes that expanding the definition of violence to include psychological, emotional, and financial abuse opens the space for healing and lays the groundwork for real change.
Professionally Erica is manager at Clarkston Consulting and brings her organizational acumen to the Board. She has over two decades of experience leading and guiding businesses through the technological, process, and people dynamics associated with organizational change. Engrained with a passion to create spaces filled with transparency, belonging and inclusion, she has dedicated the last several years of her career developing human centered approaches to digital models, capabilities, and structures.
Personally, Erica is a consummate lover of good conversation, watching a good movie with her life partner Spencer, traveling, soaking up a delicious meal with a fabulous cocktail, spending time with friends, dancing to good music, and appreciating experiences that help her unravel the ever-unfolding mysteries of herself, and life.
She is thrilled to bring her experience and skills to NO HARM.
